Manulife Solutions

Manulife Solutions Mobile is a unique e-newsletter and library platform that merges content (videos, PDFs, articles, spreadsheets, links to calculators, and more) with an email function, so advisors can easily send content to clients directly from their smartphones.

In 2011, this application was recognized as the Best Financial Services Online Newsletter Campaign in the Internet Advertising Competition, and also received the prestigious “Best in Show” Online Newsletter Campaign award.

MBNA Smartcash

BlueRush designed and developed a microsite with elements that integrate seamlessly with an offline campaign.

The site includes a rich media online video to explain the SmartCash card’s value proposition, banner ads, and an online calculator which site visitors can use to estimate potential savings from using the SmartCash card.

Mobile versions of these elements, including the video and the calculator, were also created. In 2011, this application was recognized as the Best Bank Rich Media Online Campaign by the Internet Advertising Competition.

The iPad application for realtors simplifies the sales process, creating a one-stop virtual environment fully equipped with everything RE/MAX agents need to evaluate, list, market, and sell their clients’ homes, all on-location using an iPad, eliminating the need for paper stops, increasing productivity and accelerating time to market.

CI Investments Mobile App

BlueRush worked with CI to design and develop the app, which provides convenient access to a wide range of information about CI’s products and services. CI Mobile is one of the first apps developed within the Canadian investment fund industry.

The technical challenges which BlueRush overcame in delivering this project included the requirement to provide detailed information on hundreds of fund classes, including pricing and performance information that changes daily, in an accessible format. Some features, such as a fund code finder, were developed specifically for CI Mobile. CI Mobile is one of the first apps developed within the Canadian investment fund industry and is now available free at the Apple App store.

CIBC Home Advisor video

Develop, produce and host a short an online video plus optimized landing page that engages the viewer and provides a “test drive” of a new mobile mortgage app and results in viewers downloading the new mobile mortgage app.

BlueRush developed, produced and hosts a project which includes a landing page, engaging short optimized video, and online version of the video that demonstrates the new app as another mobile innovation from CIBC.

Invesco Intactive

The BlueRush solution was designed to be easily embedded into the existing Invesco Trimark site.

It includes rich media video with sophisticated animations, along with content-specific navigation that leads to additional marketing information and videos. Viewers can access these resources online or on-the-go, via mobile.

Mobile calculators and tools

CIBC TFSA

After launch, the site, rich media videos and the CIBC TFSA Calculator were subsequently redesigned to reflect changes in the program and new cross-selling initiatives.

The updated content was leveraged for use in a mobile site that was modified to ensure an optimized experience for mobile users.

Develop and deliver a multi-faceted campaign for this Tier 1 bank that focuses on their banking bundles (credit and debit cards).

BlueRush delivered a comprehensive result which included creative direction, design and development on various platforms to support the campaign, including: calculators to support the offers, web-based versions of the tools, banner ads with expandable ad units to showcase the new calculators, and mobile design and development of the tools.

QR Codes / SMS – Text

QR (quick response) codes are a great way to bridge from one medium to the next. Using QR codes, a smartphone user can seamlessly link to your mobile website or promotion right from a print ad, poster, or at-location signage. Our projects include some of the most innovative QR projects around, often executed as part of a complete digital strategy.

BlueRush recommends an SMS / text strategy on most QR campaigns. While not every smartphone user has a QR-enabled smartphone, text is available on all mobile devices – and texting has quickly become familiar across all age groups in high numbers. Using text campaigns, users can simply text a code to a specific number, then receive an instant link to your promotion, content or mobile site.
